what to do, what to do

just wrapping up the kid portion of our night, and moving into the mad dash: what 1/4 of a thing can we get done tonight...one load of laundry, pretending to get caught up on work (which really means emails, not a real work project), doing a sinkload of dishes, or wiping the table + sweeping+1 other very small task. typically i choose None of The Above and instead pour a glass of wine, play around with material and dye, and watch a show. tonight "Parenthood" is on, probably my new favorite due to dvr.

bill is in town tonight, and we went to edina grill, a family (minus Nonna) favorite. nonna broke out in hives last time she ate there, we aren't sure it was from the food, but it could have been. thus far-all is well on the skin front.

2 salon meetings tomorrow means some prep work for my 8:30Am one. today my salon meeting time got skipped due to time constraints. this meant i drove to st. paul for the meeting, listened to everyone speak, got skipped, and got into work at 11. seems like a large waste of resources but what do i know?! hopefully tomorrow i will be given the allocated 5 MINUTES that i had asked for in our agenda!

  1. too funny. i know exactly what you mean. last night my big task was to GATHER all our laundry. not actually to do anything with it, but get it all in one basket. pathetic. then my People magazine won the remaining 15 minutes of free time.

  2. I don't yet have a little one so my free time is a bit longer but was used for catch up on Lost and 24 with dinner and beer in front of the TV. No work got done, no laundry (excuss we don't have a washer and dryer yet and who wants to go to the laundry mat?!?!), no wedding plans! Overall a good night :) PS: I hope you get your 5 minutes at your next meeting!!
